Before I became a professional bookkeeper, I owned and operated a general contracting business. I was focused on serving customers, managing projects, and keeping the business moving — and I underestimated just how much clean, accurate books mattered.
When that business ultimately filed for bankruptcy, I learned the most valuable lesson of my career: every business owner deserves financial clarity. That experience inspired me to build a bookkeeping business dedicated to helping other entrepreneurs avoid the same uncertainty.
Today I help small business owners keep accurate, organized financial records — and I help them understand those records so they can manage cash flow, plan for growth, and spend more time on the work they love. I also still run several of my own businesses, so I know exactly what it's like to sit in your chair.
